Nylon string (classical) guitar has a beautiful sound quite different from the steel string dreadnought guitar associated with earlier DGQís. Enrique brings a very different flavor to Dawg music, and a very welcome one for us fans of great nylon string sounds.

Iíve had trouble deciding whether this solo is played fingerstyle or flatpicked-Iím leaning toward flatpicked, cued by the sound of some of the double stops. Regardless, the content of the solo mixes relaxed, poised lines with some long, held notes (something most flatpickers tend to forget about) and firey scale runs.
