This is the first of two takes of "So What".The two chord progression of Dm7 and Ebm7 allows exploration of each chordís dorian mode, (1 2 b3 4 5 6 b7), Melodic development happens in a different way here, compared to moving chord progessions which can dictate the melodic direction. Jerryís solo has the hallmarks of his style- confidant phrasing, some nice slurred lines, and an overall relaxed feeling.
